Your data stays in Switzerland. And in the same data centre.
In nursing, data protection is not a formality. Anyone who processes invoices works with details about ill people — and is responsible for where those details end up.
What is usual today, and why it is a problem
For the books to add up, invoices travel to the trustee. As a stack on the desk, as an email attachment, as a share in a cloud folder. On that path they can be seen by people who have nothing to do with them: staff without a care mandate, temps, cleaning staff, the reception at the trustee. And anyone who sees a care invoice usually also sees who was visited how often and why.
What CuraSovo does differently
The decisive details are not even read out. Visit frequency, duration, services provided, diagnoses — none of that leaves your upstream system, because CuraSovo does not pull it from the file. Into the books goes only what the books need: who, how much, for what in the sense of the law, until when.
And it gets there by no path you do not control. No printout, no email attachment, no cloud share.
Where everything runs
CuraSovo is developed in Switzerland and runs at Infomaniak in Geneva. The AI assistant works there too — so your data leaves neither the country nor the data centre. Infomaniak is a Swiss company and is subject neither to the US CLOUD Act nor to European access rights. For details about patients that is not a footnote, it is the difference.
How the data are protected
- What is stored is stored encrypted
- Access to your account can be secured with a second factor
- The connection to bexio runs via encrypted access keys, which we keep encrypted
- In our operational logs, IBANs, email addresses, access keys and AHV numbers are automatically redacted before anything is written
- Files are processed entirely in memory, with no detour via disk
Reports that protect individuals
In the reports, age and sex stay locked as long as the data set would be small enough for individuals to be recognised. Once there is enough data, CuraSovo releases the attributes. If you narrow the set again, it locks them automatically once more.
And the trustee?
They get in bexio everything they need for closing and advice — and see no treatment details, no diagnoses and no information that would allow a conclusion about an illness. The books become auditable without nursing giving up its confidentiality.
